What file type works best for DTF printing (PNG, PDF, AI, PSD)?

PDF or PNG (transparent background – recommended).

AI / EPS / SVG.

What resolution should my artwork be to avoid blurry prints?

300 DPI

Do I need a transparent background?

Recommended Avoid solid white backgrounds unless intentional. If you want to print white, leave it white in your file, even if you can't see it in the preview.

What happens if my file is low quality, will it still print?

Yes, but blurry.

Should I mirror my artwork before uploading?

No, our team handles it.

How do I make sure the colors print as exact as possible?

You can use our digital and physical color match chart.

Do neon designs work with DTF?

No, we need special ink which we do not carry.

Can I print photos or highly detailed artwork with DTF?

Yes, as long as it is high resolution.

What temperature, pressure, and time should I use?

In order to get the best results, the transfer should be applied with medium consistent pressure, consistent heat of between 260°-300° or so and between 5-10 seconds per press.

How fast is turnaround and what affects it?

We usually have same-day shipping as long as the order is submitted before 12pm Mon.-Fri. Our website is constantly updated with our production turnaround.

Can our transfers work on 100% Polyurethane?

Yes but it will most likely get a slight sheen around the outside of the print from the glue, more absorbent fabrics don't show this.

Always recommend doing a sample before the final product just to be safe.

Do the colors change once heat is applied? Do they brighten, darken, etc?

The transfer doesn't change color when it is pressed, but the color of the garment can make it appear as though it did.

Will our transfers work on a shirt that is 95% viscose 5% spandex?

Yes absolutely but, viscose/spandex is kind of stretchy, while the print on it won't be as much.
