How to Apply DTF Transfers to Tote Bags

Applying your transfers is easy and mess-free:
      1. Cut the DTF transfer from the roll and set the heat press to 260°F-290°F.
      2. Pre-press for 5 seconds to remove moisture and flatten the fibers.
      3. Press with film in place for 8–10 seconds.
      4. Peel the film while it’s still warm. (If the print sticks to the film, let it cool and then peel it off cold.)
      5. After removing the PET film, return the garment to the heat press. Place a piece of craft paper or curing sheet over the image and press for an additional 10 seconds.

With this method, your iron-on transfers for canvas tote bags will last through dozens of washes without fading or cracking.
